High Acoustic Impedance Ultrasonic Couplant

High Z is a high acoustic impedance couplants to reduce surface noise and improve coupling performance on curved, rough, pitted and corroded surfaces.

This couplant will often facilitate flaw inspection and thickness gauging in situations where no other couplant will work. High Z works on surfaces other couplants won’t, such as curved, pitted, heavily corroded or rough surfaces, including concrete.

High Z comes in two different viscosities, High Z LV which is a thin, no-flow gel and High Z HV which is an extremely thick gel-paste.
